Our Holidays (picture heavy)

I hope everyone had a very merry, wonderful holiday. We have a really nice one, and I am going to share a ton of photos.
The first thing is that I dyed my hair. It's been this weird reddish-black color for a while, and it was growing in weird. Here I am sans makeup with my "before" hair.

And here is the new color.

I know...pretty much the same, huh? Oh well.

We spent Christmas Eve at Nick's parents' house. We ended up curled up on a sofa watching Captain America. Later, lots of people came over and it was time for Apples to Apples and margaritas, which is quite the mix...

I love their tree. They always cut down a cedar from their property, which is just so unique looking.

Such a sweet ornament of my mother and father in law.

Then, on Christmas Day, we headed over to my mom and step dad's house. Here is Nick and my nephew, James.

My parents' Christmas tree had to go on top of the bird cage, because anywhere else would have left it toppled over thanks to the cats and dogs.

There's Miss Big Bird herself. She is an African Gray.

Poppy can't sit for her Christmas treat. She just has to stand. Things are just too exciting.

Two Bits can sit pretty though.

My step dad with the shirt that James gave him.

James and Nick playing a card game.

Here is Nick showing my mom how to use her new Kindle.

These are the Ugg Sequin boots that I posted about on my wishlist. SO CUTE. But don't worry, I refuse to tuck my pants into them, and I'll never wear them with anything except pants. And I would never own a normal pair of Uggs, so relax, you judgmentally stylish people.

For Christmas, my grammy got me a really nice curling iron. It's a Hot Tools brand, and has a 1 1/4" barrel, which is awesome. Today I decided to use it tame my crazy hair. Also, I'm wearing the beautiful sweater that my mom got me for Christmas.

Last night, James came over to hang out with Nick. Here he is holding Miss Daisy.

Looks like fun! What kind of Kindle did your mom get? I also got one, the Kindle Fire. I'm pretty much in LOVE!! Glad you had a great day!!

I very like your article, it is very interesting. HA!

Anyway, it looks like you had a fantastic Christmas, Patty, and I'm so glad! I love your in-laws' tree, and now I totally want to do that every year -- it has so much more character than a typical pine tree. Or is it a fir tree? Heck, I don't know!

Anyway, you look adorable as usual, and I can rest easy knowing that you will only wear your Uggs with pants, untucked. ;)

<3!!
