This was a good weekend.
My sister Jenna and my nephew Justin both celebrated their birthdays on Friday. I took Jenna a quilt I made her (I'll post pics on my quilting blog tomorrow after class) which she totally loved. :) That was nice.
Saturday Nick and I picked up Justin and took him out for his birthday. He requested chicken nuggets and a trip to the game store to spend his birthday money (he's 13 now, BTW). Afterwards we had planned to go mini-golfing, but time got away from him while he tried to decide which game he wanted to buy and we ended up heading home since it was too late/cold for mini-golf.
I then got to spend the night cuddled up with chamomile (my latest obsession) and reading a really good book (I plan on having a post about said book later this month, don't worry!) while Nick and Justin did whatever it is they do with the xbox and magic cards. It was a great night.
Today involved some homework, some more reading, vacuuming, dishes, and updating my Amazon wishlist. :) Good weekends make stressful weeks all the shorter.
